Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE COURVOISIER®?

KOR-VWA-ZEE-A

I AM VEGETARIAN / VEGAN. CAN I DRINK COURVOISIER® COGNACS?

Yes. None of our products include any animal product. Furthermore, Courvoisier® cognac contains no allergens or sulfites and is gluten and lactose free.

HOW LONG MAY I KEEP AN OPENED BOTTLE OF COURVOISIER® COGNAC?

If the cognac is stored in the right conditions, our advise is to enjoy your Courvoisier® within one year of opening in order to fully benefit from its rich aromas and flavors.

I HAVE AN OLD BOTTLE OF COURVOISIER® COGNAC – AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ITS VALUE.

Cognacs do not continue to age once they have been taken out of the oak casks and bottled, so your Courvoisier® will remain exactly the same age as that detailed on the bottle itself. In terms of value, the best place to check is on a cognac collectors website as it will depend on how rare your bottle is.

I HAVE OWNED A BOTTLE OF COURVOISIER® COGNAC FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS – WILL THE LIQUID STILL BE THE SAME QUALITY?

As with most spirits, if you ensure it is kept in the right conditions then the high quality of your Courvoisier® cognac should remain intact. Make sure it is stored upright, out of direct sunlight at room temperature. Extreme temperature [hot or cold) and bright light can have an negative impact on the cognac quality.
